In recent years, Indonesia's position in regional trade and global supply chains has become increasingly prominent. The country's car sales are projected to reach 900,000 units by 2025, with motorcycle sales ranging between 6.4 and 6.7 million, solidifying its status as Southeast Asia's largest automotive market. With the imminent signing of the Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), coupled with government incentives and rising middle-class purchasing power, Indonesia's automotive industry is poised for further internationalization opportunities.

Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim, Chairman of GIAMM, stated: "Indonesia is a rapidly emerging economy, and its automotive sector is facing unprecedented opportunities. Automechanika Jakarta is not only a platform for product exhibition but also a vital channel for local enterprises to connect with international markets and learn industry best practices."

Wolfgang Marzin, Member of the Board of Management at Messe Frankfurt, emphasized that Automechanika Jakarta will draw on the Group's successful experience hosting Automechanika in Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, and Shanghai. By leveraging GIAMM's local resources, the event will create a robust international exchange platform for the regional automotive market.

Concurrent with Automechanika Jakarta, a series of events will be held, including the Automotive Industry Chain Development & Cooperation Forum, technical training workshops, a mobility solutions zone, and autoFEST@Jakarta.
