Paris Air Show Profile
The Paris Air Show is the premier event in the global aerospace industry. It serves as the preferred meeting ground for aerospace industry leaders and elites. The inaugural show opened on September 25, 1909. Since 1924, it has been held biennially in early summer of odd-numbered years. Although suspended during World War I and II, it quickly resumed post-war.Alongside the Farnborough Airshow and Singapore Airshow, it is recognized as one of the world's top three aviation exhibitions.
The Paris Air Showcreates an unparalleled platform for industry networking, product discovery, and business development. As a true engine for the aerospace supply chain and a catalyst for international cooperation, it offers a prime opportunity for sales, procurement of cutting-edge innovations, and learning advanced technologies.
Chinese aerospace products made a concentrated appearance at this edition, drawing significant industry attention. Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) participated under the theme "Hand in Hand for Cooperation, Creating Value Together," showcasing 30 key aerospace products across eight categories. In the military aviation sector, AVIC presented a full spectrum of products including fighter jets, transport aircraft, trainers, helicopters, UAVs, and guided weapons. Highlights included next-generation equipment such as the J-20, J-35A, Y-20, and Z-20, as well as military trade products like the J-10CE. Notably, the J-35A made its overseas debut, while the Z-9ME, Wing Loong-6, and Wing Loong-1G were unveiled at the Paris Air Show for the first time.
In the civil aviation sector, AVIC showcased its independently developed full-spectrum aerospace emergency rescue equipment system. This included the AG600 large amphibious firefighting aircraft, the MA60 weather modification aircraft, the Wing Loong-2H emergency disaster relief UAV, and the AC352 medium multi-purpose helicopter jointly developed by China and France.
