The Tehran International Food Ingredients, Food Processing & Packaging Exhibition (Iran Agrofood) is Iran’s largest trade show dedicated to the food and beverage industry, packaging technologies, and hospitality. Organized by Germany’s Fairtrade and strongly supported by Iran’s Ministry of Food and the Mining Sector, the event has earned the highest-level UFI certification. The exhibition consistently attracts a substantial number of international exhibitors and professional visitors.

At the previous edition of the Tehran International Food Ingredients, Food Processing & Packaging Exhibition (Iran Agrofood), the total exhibition space reached 25,000 square meters, with 461 participating companies hailing from China, Japan, South Korea, Dubai, Turkey, Oman, South Africa, India, Indonesia, Spain, and other countries. The exhibition focuses on sunflower seeds, canned goods, food-processing machinery, and food ingredients. The sunflower-seed market is particularly robust, with customers reporting that Iran’s annual demand for sunflower seeds and other dried fruits exceeds 50 million tons. Additionally, machinery and ingredient products also performed exceptionally well at the show. According to survey data collected from exhibitors, 91% indicated they would recommend the Iran Agrofood exhibition, while 86% expressed satisfaction with the business deals concluded during this event.
