With strong support from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, the Vietnam International Medical-Pharmaceutical & Medical Equipment Exhibition (Vietnam Medi-Pharm) has become the largest and most influential professional exhibition in Vietnam's healthcare sector, as well as one of the most renowned medical exhibitions in Southeast Asia.

The exhibition has attracted 450 companies and representatives from over 30 countries and regions, including China, India, Poland, Bangladesh, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, the United States, Israel, Malaysia, Japan, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Thailand, Sweden, and Pakistan.

As an ASEAN member with a large population and increasing foreign investment, Vietnam possesses immense growth potential in its healthcare market. The Vietnamese government has prioritized the healthcare industry as a key sector for investment incentives, offering numerous preferential policies to attract foreign capital. Domestic pharmaceutical production in Vietnam currently meets only about 50% of the market's demand for essential medicines, with processing equipment and pharmaceutical packaging heavily reliant on imports. Over the past decade, China has remained Vietnam's largest source of imported active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The Vietnam Medi-Pharm exhibition serves as the optimal platform for Chinese pharmaceutical and medical device enterprises to enter the Vietnamese market.
