Electronica Nuremberg – Exhibition of Power Electronics Systems and Components Profile
The PCIM Europe exhibition for power electronics systems and components in Nuremberg, Germany, is Europe’s premier trade show dedicated to power electronics systems and components. Established in 1979, it has consistently provided a professional platform for industry professionals from the power electronics sector, as well as those working in drive technologies and power quality applications, enabling them to explore the latest research and development breakthroughs in the field.
The PCIM Europe exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany will achieve even greater success by expanding its exhibition halls, broadening its range of products and services, and focusing on the theme of intelligent power system integration.
“PCIM Europe’s evolution over recent years clearly underscores its importance as a hub for personal and professional networking within the power electronics industry. In response to strong demand from exhibitors, we have decided to expand the exhibition space from Hall 5 to a total of four halls. Our goal is to promptly meet industry needs, thereby enhancing product diversity and fostering more opportunities for exchange,” explained Lisette Hausser, Vice President of Messe Frankfurt Mesago, the event organizer.
For the first time, visitors will be able to explore the entire spectrum of power electronics across all four halls, featuring industry leaders such as Infineon, Mitsubishi Electric, Semikron Danfoss, Wolfspeed, and STMicroelectronics. Additionally, Hall 5 will once again host numerous exhibitors next year, further expanding the portfolio of products and services offered by companies including Swiss Electronic, PINK GmbH, Vogt AG, Thales France, Sempro, ENNOVI, Seifert Electronics, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Microintegration, among others. The ever‑evolving complexity of the electronics industry continually raises demands for higher power density and increased signal frequencies. Consequently, process and manufacturing technologies are converging, with system integration emerging as a central focus. Power electronics places exceptionally high requirements on materials, components, circuit substrates, assembly methods, and interconnection technologies.
Visitors will, for the first time, have the opportunity to attend a series of comprehensive demonstrations spanning current products and trends in the power electronics sector, presented across four distinct stages. These include demonstrations on intelligent power system integration, technical showcases, exhibitor‑led presentations, and electric‑vehicle demonstrations—each highlighting key industry trends, cutting‑edge products, and innovative solutions from participating companies.
The PCIM Europe exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany brings together leading global brands in the power electronics industry, setting the tone for industry-wide trends and developments. With its strong international presence and diverse supplier base, the event serves as a vital networking platform for both exhibitors and visitors, offering participants unparalleled opportunities to expand their businesses. It rightfully stands as the largest and most far‑reaching specialized trade fair in the sector.
