This year's theme is "Leading the Global Energy Evolution." According to the official conference website, over 30,000 energy professionals from approximately 100 countries and regions worldwide will attend. The event will feature 45 technical conferences and over 450 technical demonstrations.
Notably, new energy topics dominate the conference agenda, including large-scale offshore carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), reducing methane emissions in oil and gas extraction, offshore hydrogen production, and the utilization of renewable marine energy. Offshore wind energy takes center stage, with dedicated panel discussions scheduled for three consecutive days. Additionally, many sessions explore the integration of various new energy sources, such as conceptual designs for producing green hydrogen using offshore wind power.
