The Nantong International Home Textiles, Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Nantong Textile Expo) is co-hosted by the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee and the Nantong Municipal People’s Government. The Nantong Textile Expo will closely align with market demands, adopt a global outlook, and focus on showcasing home textiles, apparel, fabrics, and accessories. It will promote cutting-edge technologies, new products, innovative processes, and forward‑looking concepts within the textile industry, while establishing a one‑stop commercial platform for supply and demand.

The Nantong Textile Expo will accelerate the digital, networked, and intelligent transformation of the entire textile value chain. While positioning Nantong as a premier demonstration base for high‑end smart home textile manufacturing, it aims to become a nationally recognized hub for distinctive home textile brands and a leading city in the high‑end textile sector. By 2025, the expo seeks to drive the total output value of the high‑end textile industry to RMB 300 billion, thereby supporting Nantong’s strategic goals of advancing smart manufacturing and achieving high‑end upgrades in its textile sector.

Rooted in China’s birthplace of modern textile industry, Nantong is renowned as a “textile hometown,” a celebrated home textile capital, and a major export base for textiles and apparel. In recent years, under the Nantong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s comprehensive effort to build a “3+3+N” modern industrial system, the high‑end textile industry has been designated as the top priority for the revitalization of traditional industries.

Nantong’s textile industry is steadily advancing toward higher‑value outcomes: upgrading manufacturing processes through digital, networked, and intelligent equipment and technologies; elevating service delivery via integrated solutions such as the Internet, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data; and enhancing product value through technological innovation, business model breakthroughs, methodological advancements, original design, and robust brand management.
