The Algerian Medical Equipment Expo (Simem) is the most renowned medical equipment exhibition in Algeria. It is the only professional exhibition for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and dentistry in Algeria. The exhibition has received strong support from the Algerian Ministry of Health, the Algerian Medical Development Board, the Algerian Trade Fair and Export Association, and other organizations.

The previous Algerian Medical Equipment Exhibition Simem covered an area of 10,000 square meters, with 198 participating companies from China, Taiwan, Turkey, Kenya, South Africa, the United States, Iran, Dubai, Portugal, Spain, etc., and a total of 12,230 participants.

The Algerian Medical Equipment Exhibition Simem is hosted by the Algerian Ministry of Health and the Algerian Medical Development Board with the aim of promoting better integration between local medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, producers, traders, and international counterparts.
