As Japan's only professional textile fabric exhibition, FAW TOKYO attracts designers, distributors, brand owners, importers, and product developers from across Japan annually. Attendees visit to source fabrics and trims for the upcoming year's apparel production, with buyers procuring materials either through direct import or by designating overseas OEM manufacturers.

As part of the Fashion World Tokyo series, the previous edition of FAW TOKYO covered a total exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, featuring 1,250 exhibiting companies from China, South Korea, Hong Kong (China), Dubai, the United States, Italy, Germany, France, and other regions, with over 45,000 attendees.
