The Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) aims to promote foreign trade exchange and cooperation in the healthcare industry between South Korea and the world, particularly neighboring Asian countries. It provides a global stage for the Oriental medicine and medical equipment industries. Through exhibition exchanges and trade negotiations, KIMES enhances global understanding of Oriental medicine and medical equipment, expands opportunities for international development, and creates more international trade opportunities.

KIMES is jointly organized by the renowned Korea E & Ex Inc., the Korea Medical Device Industry Association, and the Korea Medical Device Industry Joint Committee. It is a professional exhibition certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

Since its inception in 1980, KIMES has seen its exhibition space double annually, expanding to five halls. The show plays a crucial role in the international market for medical clinic equipment, hospital supplies, and laboratory instruments in South Korea.

KIMES attracts nearly 1,200 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions, including South Korea, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan (China), the United States, and Switzerland.

The exhibition targets buyers, wholesalers, practitioners, and agents in medical equipment and home healthcare, as well as researchers, doctors, pharmacists, manufacturers, distributors, and importers/exporters. The event also invites international buyer delegations and key medical equipment professionals, consistently driving up orders and total transaction volumes for exhibitors with outstanding results.
