The KIMES - Seoul International Medical & Laboratory Equipment Exhibition aims to promote trade and cooperation in the medical industry between Korea and the world, especially with neighboring countries in Asia. Hosted by Korea E & Ex Inc and the Korean Medical Device Association, in conjunction with the Korean Medical Device Industry Association and the Korean Medical Device Industry Joint Committee, the KIMES exhibition is an internationally recognized professional exhibition certified by the International Exhibition Alliance (UFI).

Since its inception in 1980, the KIMES exhibition has seen its booth area double annually, expanding to five exhibition halls. This exhibition plays a crucial role in the South Korean international medical clinic equipment, hospital equipment, and laboratory equipment sectors.
