Representatives from every major wine-producing region are present in Düsseldorf,” said Exhibition Director Peter Schmitz. “It is gratifying to see not only high‑quality exhibitors on site but also top‑level professionals from around the globe, including an increasing number of decision‑makers.”
This year, ProWein has reached a new milestone by expanding its “ProSpirits” section. Hall 5 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre fully highlights this highly promising niche market. Across 4,800 square meters, 420 exhibitors from 40 countries presented their spirit offerings, including brandy, vodka, liqueurs, tequila, and cocktails. Finally, industry leaders from Germany, Denmark, France, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom gathered at the “ProSpirits Forum,” bringing the event to a successful close.
ProWein remains the only international trade fair for wine and spirits that provides comprehensive global coverage. Consequently, beyond exhibitors, visitors flock to ProWein each year to discover new vintages, the latest trends in the wine and spirits sectors, and cutting‑edge consumer products—all with an international flavor. Moreover, these attendees are seasoned professionals, as strict access controls ensure that only true experts are present at ProWein. This guarantees a professional atmosphere for exclusive masterclasses and tastings held within the exhibition halls, alongside numerous business transactions.
