Saudi Arabia’s Five Major Industry Exhibitions – Phase IIBig 5 Saudi

Big 5 Saudi is one of the most influential trade shows for the construction, architecture, and related industries in Saudi Arabia. Since its inception in 2010, the event has enjoyed strong support from relevant Saudi government agencies. It primarily targets industry leaders, innovators, architects, project and facility managers, as well as technical professionals.

At the last edition of Big 5 Saudi, more than 1,300 exhibitors from 47 countries showcased their offerings across an exhibition space of 80,000 square meters, attracting over 55,000 visitors. The event also featured more than 60 keynote presentations and panel discussions.

Global data indicate that Saudi Arabia’s construction sector is expected to achieve an average annual growth rate of 4% between 2023 and 2026. Under the Ministry of Housing’s ESKAN program, the government plans to build 500,000 housing units. To realize Saudi Vision 2030 and diversify the national economy, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) launched five mega‑projects—collectively known as the “Giga Projects”—several years ago: NEOM, Qiddiya, The Red Sea Project, Roshn, and Diriyah. Notably, the NEOM project alone has committed investments totaling US$500 billion.

For Chinese enterprises, the Middle East represents substantial market potential and ample room for growth. With China’s rapid development, an increasing number of Chinese companies are expanding internationally to seek new opportunities. The Middle East holds a pivotal position in the global marketplace and warrants close attention from Chinese businesses.
