Profile

The Green Week Berlin (Internationale Grüne Woche Berlin) was first established in 1926. It primarily targets visitors interested in horticultural and landscaping machinery, agricultural machinery, agriculture, beverages, fish, grains, horticultural supplies, horticultural materials, horticultural equipment, livestock products, meat products, sausages, sparkling wines, spirits, and alcoholic beverages. As one of the world's largest exhibitions for food, agriculture, and horticulture, this edition attracted over 1,400 exhibitors from 61 countries and regions, drawing approximately 300,000 visitors. During the event, the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) was held, where delegates discussed topics such as sustainable land use to achieve the goal of halving food waste by 2030.

On-site, attendees can participate in experiential projects, attend thematic forums on climate neutrality and the circular economy, or network and exchange ideas with agricultural and technology professionals from around the globe.

Smart agriculture and low-carbon agriculture were major highlights of this edition. At the "AI & Land" booth, manager Franco introduced their new product—a full-process crop cultivation robot. During irrigation, the robot operates on a per-plant basis according to actual crop conditions, reducing water consumption by 20%. To address the issue of static solar panels potentially blocking ground sunlight, this photovoltaic robot can move along tracks as needed to minimize shading.

The application scenarios of "Technology + Agriculture" are becoming increasingly diverse, unleashing agricultural productivity. Exhibitor Agravis showcased a fully automated sowing and weeding robot equipped with solar panels, capable of operating continuously for 24 hours. Agricultural machinery company Fendt presented a climate-friendly electric tractor that can operate sustainably for 5 hours, featuring low energy consumption and zero emissions.

During Green Week Berlin, the organizers also hosted various experiential activities to promote sustainable development concepts to visitors. At the pavilion of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, attendees could wear VR headsets to experience a 360-degree "World of Bogs," learning about the importance of wetlands to ecological balance. In the forestry section, visitors could immerse themselves in the fascinating relationship between forests and the water cycle. At the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture pavilion, attendees learned on-site how to reduce their carbon footprint and lower carbon emissions while cooking.

Holding an extremely important position in the food industry, agriculture, and horticulture sectors, this exhibition serves as the premier platform for Chinese enterprises to explore the European market. The Green Week Berlin has also become a world-renowned "landmark" in Berlin and Germany.

Green Week Berlin (Internationale Grüne Woche Berlin) tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents.
