The Russian Jewelry Exhibition (Junwex), founded in 2005, is Russia’s premier event for jewelry and timepieces. As Russia’s longest-running jewelry fair, it draws exhibitors from around the world at nearly every edition.It showcasesdiamond jewelry, platinum pieces, diamonds, gemstones, natural pearls, black pearls, as well as jewelry tools and equipment.

JUNWEX has repeatedly brought together a distinguished roster of high‑quality exhibitors. At its most recent edition, the exhibition spanned 35,000 square meters, with 700 participating companies hailing from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, India, Dubai, Sharjah, Germany, the United States, Singapore, and other regions, attracting a total of 41,420 visitors.

As one of the BRICS nations, Russia boasts a population of over 140 million and is the largest country within the Commonwealth of Independent States. According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service, annual spending on jewelry in Russia exceeds hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars, with robust growth momentum—annual increases averaging more than 30%. In recent years, rising labor costs and relatively stagnant technological advancements in Russia have led to a steady rise in jewelry imports. Meanwhile, Russia’s abundant reserves of diamonds, colored gemstones, jade, amber, and other raw materials offer an excellent complement to China’s own resource constraints.
