The agricultural sector is primarily driven by cotton cultivation, with sericulture, animal husbandry, and fruit & vegetable farming also playing significant roles. Both China and Uzbekistan are traditional agricultural nations with similar production characteristics and highly complementary agricultural economies. In terms of agricultural machinery cooperation, Chinese equipment stands out for its cost-effectiveness compared to European and American alternatives. Consequently, China's compact agricultural machinery is better suited to Uzbekistan's national conditions. Furthermore, successfully introducing Chinese agricultural machinery to the Uzbek market paves the way for expansion into other Central Asian markets.
