SMART ENERGY WEEK OSAKAProfile
SMART ENERGY WEEK OSAKA is the largest, most professional, and most influential international renewable energy exhibition in Japan and across Asia. It has become the premier platform for tapping into Japan, the world's second-largest renewable energy market, and the rapidly growing Asian renewable energy market.
The event attracts distributors, traders, manufacturers, retailers, and technology service providers from the global energy sector, alongside government officials and academic researchers. SMART ENERGY WEEK OSAKA covers a comprehensive range of fields from power generation, energy storage, and energy distribution to smart/renewable energy applications and technologies, boasting the broadest scope of any exhibition worldwide.
Japan is a major global energy consumer with a heavy reliance on imports. Due to resource scarcity, Japan has actively developed solar energy for years, making solar technology a crucial component of its national development strategy. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) implements various measures and programs to expand the domestic PV industry and capacity. As the world's second-largest solar PV market, the Japanese government continues to provide policy support for the residential adoption of solar panels, presenting an excellent opportunity for Chinese solar exporters to enter the Japanese market.
By 2050, renewable energy is expected to play a pivotal role in achieving carbon neutrality. The Smart Energy Week series brings together comprehensive renewable energy technologies, including hydrogen & fuel cells, solar power, rechargeable batteries, smart grids, wind energy, biomass, and zero-emission thermal power generation. SMART ENERGY WEEK OSAKA serves as a premier exhibition that converges cutting-edge technologies, information, and industry professionals to accelerate business growth in the energy sector.
SMART ENERGY WEEK OSAKA tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
