Cairo ICT is Africa's most influential information and communications technology exhibition. Since its inception in 1996, it has consistently been one of the most impactful telecom and IT events in the Middle East and Africa. Entering the 21st century, with the rapid global development of ICT, Africa has gradually emerged as a key emerging market for information and communications technology worldwide.

The previous edition of Cairo ICT covered a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, hosting 590 exhibitors from China, Chinese Taipei, India, Russia, Dubai, Germany, Kenya, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and other regions, attracting 88,000 attendees.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of conferences and seminars, with 289 speakers presenting at events such as Cairo ICT, PAFIX, Innovation Arena, Cybersecurity Conference, Ministry of Higher Education Special Conference, and Primary Education Conference. The audience for Cairo ICT has grown significantly year by year, with a substantial increase in professionalism, opening up new market prospects and uncovering continuous market demand. New local infrastructure projects have generated substantial demand for imported communications and electronic equipment, enabling more Chinese enterprises to successfully find local partners.

The African market is receiving increasing attention. Meanwhile, Egypt has signed trade agreements with numerous countries in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. Products manufactured in Egypt can freely enter the domestic markets of these regional economic blocs, exempt from all tariffs and free from quantitative quota restrictions.
