The China (Anqing) Petrochemical Industry Expo (CIE) will showcase a full range of high-quality exhibits. The expo is themed "Technology Empowers New Materials, Accelerating the Vitality of New Momentum", focusing on showcasing products and advanced technologies in the current oil and chemical industries, covering the entire petrochemical, chemical, new materials, and related industries.

The China (Anqing) Petrochemical Industry Expo (CIE) will highlight new achievements, new products, new technologies, new business models, and new modes in the field of chemical new materials, with a total planned area of 32,000 square meters, setting up nine exhibition areas around the entire chemical new materials industry chain. Inviting cities, groups, and enterprises from within and outside the city to demonstrate development plans, measures, industrial policies, and development achievements in the field of chemical new materials.

Anqing is one of the top five refining and chemical bases in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, an important national petrochemical base, one of China's top 30 chemical parks, a national high-tech industrialization base for chemical new materials, a key support park for circular transformation, the first of the three major new chemical bases in Anhui Province, one of the three major chemical industry clusters in Anhui Province, one of the first batch of chemical parks recognized by Anhui Province, a strategic cooperation park between Anhui Provincial Government and Sinopec Group, Anhui Province's only strategic emerging industry cluster development base for chemical new materials, and one of the first 14 strategic emerging industry cluster development bases in Anhui Province (chemical new materials), an important chemical new materials base in the Anqing urban agglomeration.
