The Taiwan International Optoelectronics and Laser Expo (OPTO Taiwan) is the largest and most important optoelectronics laser exhibition in Taiwan. It was first held in 1984 and has become an annual event and marketing platform for Taiwan's optoelectronics industry. The exhibition focuses on optoelectronic technology, integrating semiconductor, electronics, optical communications, lasers, optics, precision machinery, and other related fields; it fully exhibits materials, components, application products, production equipment, plant facilities, and software and hardware technologies for the optoelectronics application industry. It has always been a showcase for Taiwan's optoelectronics industry to enter the market. It continues to receive support and participation from manufacturers, and with the rapid advancement of Taiwan's optoelectronics technology, the international optoelectronics exhibition has shone brightly on the international stage, making Taiwan's optoelectronic products highly regarded worldwide.

The OPTO Taiwan exhibition had a total area of 15,800 square meters at its last session, with 307 companies participating from countries such as China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, etc., and a total of 10,952 people attended. It has now become one of the world's important optoelectronics exhibitions, and it is an exhibition that the industry cannot miss once a year.
