The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) is one of the leading exhibitions in Russia focusing on gas distribution and consumption. The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) conference agenda features 90 events covering a wide range of topics, from international cooperation and import substitution to labor safety and attracting young professionals. 750 industry experts delivered speeches during the conference discussions. Over 600 companies showcased products and projects tailored for the gas industry across a 48,000 sqm exhibition space.
First and foremost, the forum demonstrates that Russia, as a major gas producer and supplier, remains integrated with the global community. This year, participant representation expanded to include the Asia-Pacific region, Africa, and Arab countries. Key figures attending the plenary sessions included Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom; Nikolay Shulginov, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; Roman Sklyar, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan; Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy of Turkey; Xie Jun, Deputy General Manager of CNPC; Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan; and Taalaibek Ibraev, Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.
Other topics discussed during the SPIGF forum included industry sustainability, digital transformation, design and construction, innovation, import substitution in the gas sector, and environmental issues. The accompanying exhibition highlighted tangible achievements by Russian industrialists.
