Hunting has ancient traditions in Russia, where agriculture and animal husbandry were originally the foundations of state and royal economies. Historically, hunting ground rights were granted to all social classes. During the Soviet era, state-sponsored hunting clubs were established within administrative boundaries and factories. Urban hunting clubs were allocated hunting grounds, allowing members to hunt in accordance with federal and local regulations. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, private individuals were permitted to lease hunting areas previously sponsored by the state for club use. Many landowners are affluent Russians willing to invest heavily in maintaining leased hunting grounds for recreation, occasionally allowing other hunters to use their territories for a fee. Consequently, the quality and quantity of hunting products across most of Russia have increased significantly. Today, numerous outdoor gear suppliers and booking agencies organize hunting tours for foreigners.
The exhibition aims to provide a communication platform for hunting and fishing professionals worldwide. It showcases the latest products and industry trends, offering an unmissable opportunity to tap into the vast Russian market.
