KazBuild is the most influential building materials and interior decoration exhibition in Central Asia. Organized by ITE Group, the world's second-largest exhibition company, it is certified by the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and receives strong official support from the Kazakh government, the Kazakhstan Construction Committee, and the Almaty City Hall.

The previous edition covered a total area of 16,000 square meters, featuring 322 exhibitors from China, Japan, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Russia, Poland, Dubai, Turkey, India, the UK, and other regions, attracting 14,900 visitors.

Currently, Kazakhstan's building materials market is still in its early development stage, dominated by mid-to-low-end products that are mostly imported. Retail prices for building materials are exceptionally high; for instance, sanitary ware and floor tiles cost 2 to 4 times more on average than comparable Chinese products. Given their high quality and competitive pricing, Chinese building materials perfectly meet local market demands, making them the top choice in Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, the Kazakh government actively encourages and supports capable Chinese enterprises to invest and establish manufacturing facilities locally.
