Wuhan International Smart Industry & Automation Exhibition (CWME&WIIF)Profile

The Wuhan International Smart Industry & Automation Exhibition (CWME&WIIF) is a flagship exhibition under the China Machine Tool Expo & Wuhan International Industry Fair. Approved by the State Council as a national-level international expo, it has officially obtained certification from UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). Since its inaugural edition in Wuhan in 2000, it has attracted over 10,000 domestic and international enterprises to exhibit and attend, evolving into a premier platform for showcasing new quality productive forces and connecting upstream and downstream industrial chains in the global high-end equipment manufacturing sector.

Driven by Industry 4.0 and generative AI, the global smart manufacturing and industrial automation sectors are undergoing accelerated transformation. By 2030, advanced manufacturing regions such as China, Japan, South Korea, and Western Europe are expected to lead the automation revolution. China places high strategic importance on smart manufacturing and industrial automation. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030), the convergence of a new round of technological and industrial revolutions will be spearheaded by digital and intelligent technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, mobile internet, blockchain, and virtual reality. This integrated empowerment, driven by emerging fields like biotechnology, new materials, new energy, and smart manufacturing, will create new opportunity windows for China's industrial development.

Leveraging Wuhan's regional advantages and grounded in intelligent innovation, the Wuhan International Smart Industry & Automation Exhibition (CWME&WIIF) focuses on key niche areas including automation technology, electrical systems, intelligent control, mechanical transmission, industrial robots, material handling, and monitoring equipment, offering comprehensive smart manufacturing solutions. By establishing a high-end exchange platform, organizing cutting-edge technology seminars, and facilitating precise supply-demand matchmaking, the exhibition aims to cultivate new quality productive forces, optimize and upgrade the smart manufacturing industrial ecosystem, and drive high-quality regional economic development.
