Malaysia's textile industry primarily comprises four segments: basic textiles (spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, etc.), apparel manufacturing, textile made-ups, and accessories. Among these, spinning and weaving account for a relatively small share, while dyeing and garment manufacturing are more mature. Apparel & Textile Malaysia serves as the premier trade platform for Chinese textile and apparel companies to enter the Malaysian and broader Southeast Asian markets.
