The IPA Convention & Exhibition (IPA) is the most authoritative oil and gas exhibition in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. It creates more business opportunities for exhibitors and provides a broader international trade platform for them to directly engage with key buyers and decision-makers in Indonesia's oil and gas energy market.

The previous edition of the IPA Convention & Exhibition (IPA) covered a total area of 23,000 square meters, featuring 478 exhibitors from China, Japan, Malaysia, Dubai, South Korea, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Iran, the United States, Brazil, Singapore, and other countries, attracting 30,000 attendees.

Indonesia is a major oil and gas producer in the Asia-Pacific region and was formerly an OPEC member in Asia. Historically, Indonesia's oil and gas production has ranked second in the region. Its crude oil is primarily exported to Asia-Pacific countries and the United States. Driven by the sustained rise in oil and gas prices, Indonesia needs to expand its production capacity to support economic growth. A series of national policies have created significant opportunities for the oil industry. Many new oil fields are set to commence production, with considerable attention also focused on potentially large reserves in eastern Indonesia.
