CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Las Vegas, USA Profile
Founded in 1967, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas has evolved into the world's largest, most prestigious, and influential consumer electronics trade exhibition. Today, CES remains the definitive benchmark for global consumer technology trends and a vital hub for international electronics trade.
CES attracts over 148,000 attendees from around the globe, including more than 6,900 media professionals, across an exhibition area exceeding 240,000 square meters. The event brings together over 4,100 exhibitors, with approximately 1,200 being startups, clearly demonstrating that the "future" is no longer just a concept. From AI-driven health solutions to next-generation smart mobility technologies, the showcased innovations are highly practical and deployable, actively reshaping industries in real-world scenarios.
Energy and sustainability have emerged as a core theme at CES. From battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hydrogen fuel cell cars to extended-range and hybrid solutions, alongside smart energy management systems and large-scale energy storage technologies, a profound energy transition is clearly underway. Breakthroughs in grid resilience, portable power stations, and home energy storage directly address the pressing challenges of rapidly growing global energy demands.
Wearable devices have also entered a new stage of maturity. Smart glasses, AR devices, smartwatches, and smart rings are rapidly integrating into daily life. Generative AI voice interaction, real-time translation, health monitoring, and even QR code payments are making "hands-free" experiences a reality. Meanwhile, products like ECG-enabled smartwatches and hearing aid earbuds are further driving the deep integration of consumer electronics and healthcare.
Notably, Chinese innovation is highly prominent at CES. Over a thousand Chinese enterprises, including Lenovo, TCL, Hisense, Great Wall Motor, and Unitree Robotics, made a collective appearance, forming an indispensable innovation force at the show.
In the humanoid robotics sector, Chinese companies have performed exceptionally well. Out of 38 humanoid robot booths, 21 were from China. Among them, the "Qiyuan Q1" launched by Shangwei Qiyuan garnered widespread attention from international media for its full-body force control, compact foldable design, and open SDK/HDK architecture, accelerating the transition of personal robots from specialized equipment to applications in research, education, and creative fields.
Furthermore, Chinese enterprises showcased a new paradigm of cloud-edge AI collaboration at CES, achieving continuous evolution while ensuring privacy and security. Lenovo's launch of a personal super agent, leveraging cross-device synergy, upgrades AI from a single-function tool to a comprehensive personal capability, serving as a representative case for the practical implementation of hybrid AI.
CES is more than just an exhibition; it serves as a declaration: innovation waits for no one, and hesitation may mean missing the moment when the future becomes reality. From January 6 to 9, 2027, CES will celebrate its 60th anniversary. We look forward to seeing you there.
