The China International Hardware Fair (CIHF, also known as the Shanghai Hardware Exhibition) is deeply rooted in the hardware and electromechanical industry, becoming a benchmark for leading the Chinese hardware and electromechanical industry and the most outstanding brand exhibition in the hardware industry.

Originating from the National Hardware Commodities Order Meeting, the China International Hardware Fair has undergone changes in China's planned economy and market economy since its inception in 1952. It began to use this name in 2001.
