Established in 1986, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) showcases the achievements of Indonesia's automotive industry to the world. GAIKINDO will continue to present the future of the automotive sector through GIIAS.
Building on the positive momentum of Indonesia's automotive industry over the years, GAIKINDO will once again host the largest international auto show in Indonesia and Southeast Asia – the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
As a member of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), GIIAS is widely recognized as a premier automotive platform, focusing on technology, premieres, launches, and brand promotion for domestic automotive brands. GIIAS is a comprehensive exhibition highlighting innovation, covering passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, automotive series, motorcycles, and supporting industry brands.
According to the organizer's statistics, this edition achieved automotive sales of over 38,000 units, a 12% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, visitor attendance reached 485,600, setting a recent record and fully reflecting the market's strong interest and enthusiasm for the development of the automotive industry.
Industry analysts note that with the growing middle class and accelerating consumption upgrades, Indonesia's automotive market is releasing strong demand. Exhibitions like GIIAS serve as a crucial stage for brands to launch new models and showcase cutting-edge technologies.
The hosting of GIIAS is not solely driven by sales figures but focuses on promoting the long-term development of the entire automotive industry. Through the exhibition, the organizer aims to build a communication platform for upstream and downstream sectors of the industry chain, fostering technology sharing, market expansion, and international cooperation.
"Transactions are not the sole objective of the exhibition, but this year's achievements have undoubtedly injected new momentum into the industry," said Yohannes Nangoi. Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
