The South African Textile, Apparel & Footwear Exhibition (ATF) is the only textile and footwear trade show in South Africa and the largest of its kind in Africa. It has been held annually since 1998, attracting visitors from South Africa, Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, India, Tanzania, Turkey, China, and other countries. Thanks to its sizable consumer market and advantages such as the absence of import quotas, the South African textile, apparel, and footwear sector has long been a key target for global textile and light‑industry companies seeking to expand their sales.
