Seoul, South Korea: IT, Telecommunications, and IoT Exhibition Profile
The Seoul International IT, Telecommunications & IoT Exhibition (World IT Show) is a leading international trade show in Asia, showcasing artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, mobile communications, ICT‑integrated services, and a wide array of IT products.Companies, buyers, and IT professionals from government, industry, and academia gather to share insights and exchange ideas on ICT‑related communications.
As AI increasingly permeates every facet of industrial operations, this year’s event is hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and co‑organized by six institutions, including the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and the Korea Information Society Development Institute. It serves as a vital platform for observing the trajectory of AI and ICT industries in Korea.
This edition of WIS is themed “The AI EXPERIENCE,” with AI as its central focus. Moving beyond technical demonstrations toward real‑world applications—shifting from “seeing AI” to “using AI”—the exhibition seeks to integrate AI into industrial, commercial, and everyday settings.
The Seoul International IT, Telecommunications & IoT Exhibition(World IT Show)will feature 468 innovative technology companies from Korea and around the globe, spanning areas such as large‑scale AI models, AI‑enabled semiconductors, robotics, and smart mobility. In addition to major domestic tech firms and telecom operators, the show will also attract numerous enterprises specializing in physical AI—such as robotics and intelligent mobile devices—as well as providers of critical foundational technologies for the AI era, including digital twins and cybersecurity solutions.
A major highlight of this year’s event is the concentrated showcase of AX‑based technologies tailored for practical business scenarios. These include advanced generative K‑AI models with enhanced reasoning capabilities, AI solutions ready for deployment in enterprise and manufacturing environments, and cutting‑edge innovations in quantum computing and wearable devices. Meanwhile, AI‑driven smart factories, new smart‑home paradigms, cloud‑ and SaaS‑based commercial applications, and emerging AI‑powered digital health offerings will also be prominently featured.
At a pivotal moment when AI is accelerating the reshaping of industrial logic, the Seoul International IT, Telecommunications & IoT Exhibition(World IT Show)functions more like an industry roadmap. It goes beyond mere technology display, aiming to address a pressing question: How can AI truly deliver tangible business value going forward?
