The China E-commerce Industry (Vietnam) Expo (CIEIE) serves as a vital trade promotion and industry exchange platform, actively bridging Vietnamese government bodies at all levels, chambers of commerce, associations, and key enterprises. It brings together 300 high-quality cross-border factories, e-commerce platforms, and service providers from both domestic and international markets.
The expo is expected to attract exhibitors and visitors from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, and other countries and regions. Targeted buyers include: Vietnam's Top 50 retail groups, Vietnamese chain convenience stores (WinMart, GS25), and regional wholesalers; internationally renowned buyers such as AEON, CP Group, Firsthub, and IUH Company; product selection teams from Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Vietnam, as well as MCN agencies; and service platforms covering cross-border logistics, payment solutions, and compliance & certification enterprises.
In 2025, China continues to maintain its position as Vietnam's largest trading partner, while Vietnam remains a crucial trade partner for China within ASEAN. The bilateral trade volume between China and Vietnam reached USD 300 billion in 2025 (based on Vietnamese statistical standards), marking a significant increase from approximately USD 205.2 billion in 2024 and setting a new historical record. Vietnam is not only a massive consumer market but also a "manufacturing base" for Chinese industrial chains expanding overseas. With the smooth operation of logistics networks (railway/land routes) and the advancement of RMB settlement, future China-Vietnam e-commerce trade will become more efficient and dynamic.
Concurrently, supporting events such as the China-Vietnam E-commerce High-Quality Development Forum, Vietnam E-commerce Conference, and various sector-specific economic and trade forums and networking sessions will be held. These activities will provide exhibitors and visitors with the latest industry insights, interpret cutting-edge information and policies, share practical experiences for market entry in Vietnam, and deliver premium services to support enterprises in their global expansion.
Leveraging the international resources of the CCPIT trade promotion network, the CIEIE will feature a dedicated International Pavilion on-site, with special zones for South Korea, Indonesia, Laos, and other countries.
