The INTERMOLD Bangkok International Mould & Die Exhibition is the premier trade show for mould and die technology in the ASEAN region. Highly regarded throughout Thailand and across Southeast Asia, its international pavilion features numerous exhibits making their Asian debut, showcasing cutting-edge research and innovations in global mould and die technologies as well as related machinery.

INTERMOLD Bangkok encompasses six thematic sections: InterMold Moulds, InterPlas Plastics, Automotive Manufacturing, Surface & Coating Technologies, and Assembly & Automation. Among these, the Moulds exhibition occupies the largest area and sits at the heart of the event, distinguished by its high level of specialization and technical excellence, reflecting the advanced state of mechanical equipment development in Southeast Asia and beyond.

In recent years, Thailand has actively engaged in regional economic cooperation, joining the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the ASEAN Free Trade Area. It has also participated in trilateral initiatives among China, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar to enhance waterway and land transport connectivity in the upper Mekong River basin, while promoting the “Economic Growth Triangle” linking Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. With the growth of manufacturing and service sectors—particularly the booming tourism industry—Thailand’s economic structure has undergone a significant transformation, shifting from an agriculture‑based economy reliant on agricultural exports toward an emerging industrial nation. In Sino‑Thai trade, machinery and equipment continue to constitute the bulk of Thailand’s imports from China.
