The 22nd edition of ADIHEX 2025 was successfully held from August 30 to September 7 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Hosted by ADNEC Group and co-organized by the Emirates Falconers Club, this year’s event, under the theme “The Legacy Lives On,” stood as the premier annual trade show in the Middle East and North Africa for hunting, equestrian sports, and cultural heritage. The exhibition featured 15 specialized sectors, covering hunting firearms, equestrian equipment, falconry, camels, Arabian hounds, outdoor camping gear, fishing tackle, veterinary products, and cultural heritage, among others.

Exhibition space and exhibitor numbers reach new heights. This year’s fair brought together 2,068 exhibitors and brands from 68 countries, including 46 world-class falconry farms. With a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, the nine-day event attracted 379,572 professional visitors—up 9.2% year over year—marking the highest attendance figure since the show’s inception in 2003. Attendees included members of royal families, government officials, high-end buyers, seasoned hunters, and equestrian enthusiasts. Moreover, more than 60% of exhibition booths have already been reserved for the 2026 edition, underscoring exhibitors’ sustained confidence.

Exhibitor lineup showcases internationalization and industry leadership. The event featured global leaders in hunting firearms, such as Purdey, Browning, Bynuna, Coldsteel, and Fausti. Industry associations—including the International Hunting Forum—top-tier falconry farms, equestrian equipment suppliers, and outdoor gear manufacturers were all present, representing the entire value chain. For the first time, the fair introduced four entirely new sections: the Souq sector, the Knives sector, the Arabian Saluki sector, and the Camel sector.

The Falcon Auction Emerged as the Show’s Central Highlight. For the first time at this edition of the exhibition, a falcon auction was held, with eight sessions staged both before and during the event. A total of 57 falcons were sold, generating aggregate sales of AED 2.199 million, while online and offline participation exceeded 21,795 attendees. Camel auctions recorded sales totaling AED 1.7 million, and Arabian horse auctions surpassed AED 500,000. Specialized events such as the Falcon Beauty Contest, Arabian Hound Beauty Pageant, and International Dog Show drew significant numbers of professional buyers and spectators. The exhibition also hosted, for the first time in Al Ain, the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, further expanding ADIHEX’s reach.

A Diverse Array of Exhibits: Tradition Meets Modern Innovation as the Core Theme. This year’s exhibition showcased an extensive range of products, including hunting firearms, edged weapons, crossbows, bows and arrows, optical equipment, outdoor camping gear, fishing supplies, equestrian items, and falconry training facilities. Concurrent knowledge-platform forums and sustainability symposiums addressed cutting-edge topics such as eco-friendly hunting practices, wildlife conservation, and innovations in outdoor gear. Several companies unveiled groundbreaking offerings, including smart falcon-tracking devices, lightweight outdoor equipment, and high-end custom-made blades.

High-Level Royal Presence and Deep Engagement. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, attended the exhibition in person, while His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, toured the venue and commended the event’s organizational efforts. The exhibition also welcomed thousands of student groups, who participated in cultural-heritage education activities such as falconry training experiences and learning traditional Arabic coffee etiquette.

Strong Support and Enthusiastic Response from Exhibitors and Industry Professionals. This edition of the exhibition attracted a total of 21,795 participants to Falcon Auction’s online bidding, with exhibitors and buyers securing numerous on-site purchase orders. Several exhibitors reported having already reserved their 2026 exhibition spaces in advance. Attendees agreed that ADIHEX has become the most influential specialized trade show in the global hunting and equestrian industries, serving as a strategic platform for companies to showcase their products, connect with customers, gain insights into industry trends, and expand into the Middle East and global markets.
