Japan Tokyo Apparel and Ready-to-Wear ExhibitionAFF

The Asia Fashion Fair (AFF), held in Tokyo, Japan, is the country’s largest and most specialized exhibition for apparel and ready-to-wear. Since its inception in 2003, it has cultivated extensive experience in Japan‑China trade, enabling exhibitors to meet diverse demands such as ODM, high functionality, fast fashion, and competitive pricing. The exhibit range encompasses apparel, fabrics, trims, home textiles, and accessories.

At the most recent edition of AFF, the total exhibition space reached 11,000 square meters, with 228 participating companies hailing from China, Taiwan, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Italy, India, Turkey, and other regions, attracting a total of 12,900 visitors.

In recent years, the “China+1” model has transitioned from concept to reality, with textile and apparel supplies sourced from various Asian production hubs increasingly valued by Japanese importers. In response, Chinese enterprises have established manufacturing facilities across Southeast Asia, expanding their supply chains beyond China to encompass the broader Asian market.

The Asia Fashion Fair aims to attract an even greater number of Asian exhibitors, ensuring that all stakeholders make full use of the existing trading platform and further enhance the fair’s influence within the Japanese industry.
