Profile

The Ambiente – Frankfurt Spring Consumer Goods Fair is the world’s largest and most influential trade fair dedicated to consumer goods and gift items. It brings together exhibitors from countries and regions across the globe, serving as a key indicator of emerging trends in the international consumer goods industry.

At the last edition of Ambiente, 4,636 exhibitors from 170 countries participated—88% of whom were international—with an exhibition space exceeding 350,000 square meters and attracting approximately 140,000 professional visitors. The fair spanned 28 pavilions, and China ranked among the top ten source markets for attendees.

Ambiente 2027 will feature specialized zones organized around three thematic areas: Dining (tableware, kitchenware, household items, glassware, and cutlery), Living (home décor, garden products, soft furnishings, lighting, and furniture), and Giving (various gift items, stationery, paper products, writing and drawing supplies, fragrances, and party accessories). The three major design trends for 2027 are clear+lovely, structural+emotive, and noble+fancy, translating critical trends in design, art, fashion, and lifestyle into tangible inspiration.

Europe is one of the world’s largest consumer markets, where consumers place high demands on product design, quality, and environmental sustainability. Chinese categories such as tableware, home décor, gift stationery, scented candles, garden products, and glassware enjoy strong market demand in Europe. Ambiente gathers key buyers—including major European retailers, department stores, supermarket chains, brand owners, e‑commerce platforms, importers, and wholesalers—making it an efficient platform for companies to secure orders, forge long-term partnerships, and gain insights into market trends.

As the “barometer” and “premier event” of the global consumer goods industry, the Ambiente – Frankfurt Spring Consumer Goods Fair annually showcases the latest products, design trends, and procurement needs from around the world, providing Chinese consumer goods enterprises with a premier platform to expand into European and global markets.

Ambiente – Frankfurt Spring Consumer Goods Fair tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification.
