Since its inception in 1970, Art Basel has remained committed to connecting the world’s leading galleries with their patrons, while also serving as a vital platform for international artistic exchange.

This year, Art Basel brings together 287 premier galleries from 40 countries and regions, as the international art community once again gathers in Basel, Switzerland. The “Curated Sections” highlight historically significant projects, featuring 16 galleries presenting thoughtfully curated exhibitions—11 of which are making their debut at the fair.

Key highlights include a focused retrospective of artist Jean Tinguely, presented by Galerie Mueller (Basel), a first-time participant; a distinguished series of oil paintings by Basel-born artist Irène Zurkinden, showcased by Meredith Rosen Gallery (New York), also debuting at the event; an exhibition of works by Senegalese modernist Viyé Diba, curated by OH Gallery (Dhaka); and a presentation by Bank (Shanghai) that illuminates the remarkable artistic partnership between Wan Man and Song Huai Gui (Ms. Song).

In addition to the fair’s curated programs and gallery presentations, Basel’s world-class museums and foundations are preparing special initiatives to coincide with Art Basel, ensuring that the city remains a vibrant hub for art enthusiasts and professionals alike.
