Industry scope

Continuing its carefully curated five thematic sections—Main Gallery, APPROACH, DETOUR, BEYOND, and Special Projects

33 distinguished galleries from home and abroad make their debut

ART021 serves as a vital bridge connecting Shanghai with the global art scene, consistently attracting diverse emerging voices: galleries such as Green Gallery, Lisson Gallery, NANZUKA, REFLEXION Echo, ROH, and PETITREE are all making their first appearance

The Main Gallery section features 85 leading galleries in force

In the “Main Gallery” segment, both established international leaders and mid-career institutions present a handpicked selection of works spanning eras and media, spotlighting today’s most influential artists while also highlighting accomplished mid-career talents and promising newcomers

Internationally renowned names—including Almine Rech, Sant Art, Melonhe Gallery, Perrotin, Hidetoshi Nagasawa, and David Zwirner—are all returning. Lisson Gallery’s inaugural participation will bring together its core roster of artists

Local galleries likewise demonstrate exceptional strength within the Main Gallery section. Key institutions such as Qian Gaoyuan Art Space, Antenna Space, BANK, Beijing Commune, HdM Gallery, Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Triumph Gallery, Maier Gallery, Tang Contemporary Art Center, and ShanghART Gallery are all presenting high-caliber exhibitions

The APPROACH section showcases a vibrant cohort of emerging galleries

The “APPROACH” section continues to expand its roster, with increasingly diverse geographic representation and gallery types. Twenty cutting-edge galleries from multiple countries will participate collectively, several making their debut at a mainland China art fair, thereby opening up broad new platforms for young artists

Three dynamic sections foster multifaceted dialogue on a global scale

The “DETOUR” section highlights three regionally significant galleries, presenting thought-provoking, culturally strategic exhibitions that forge cross-border conversations and connections

The “Special Projects” section will feature contributions from auction houses, non-profit arts organizations, and artist-run studios, co-creating a multi-layered aesthetic experience. Indonesia’s YGO, in collaboration with eight galleries, will amplify Southeast Asian artistic voices, injecting fresh diversity into the fair

The “BEYOND” public section brings together compelling large-scale sculptures and site-specific installations, offering a panoramic view of seminal works by contemporary masters alongside meticulously crafted pieces by emerging artists, while cultivating immersive spaces conducive to reflection throughout the exhibition
