Exhibition Introduction
The Value of Participating in Asia Fruit Logistica
- The Asia Fruit Logistica is Asia’s largest and only specialized trade show dedicated to the entire fresh fruit and vegetable value chain. Since its inception in 1998, it has evolved into a strategic gateway and barometer for expanding global fruit and vegetable markets in Asia. Organized by Global Product Exhibition Co., Ltd. (GPE), this event maintains a sister-show relationship with Berlin Fruit Logistica, the world’s premier fruit and vegetable expo. Held annually at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo, it serves as a central platform for connecting global industry resources, showcasing cutting-edge technological advances, and gaining insights into Asian consumer trends.
- The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled reach into the Asian market and its concentration of high-caliber professional buyers. In 2025, the exhibition attracted over 760 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions, drawing more than 14,000 professional visitors, thereby reinforcing its status as a pivotal global trading platform for Asia’s fruit and vegetable sector. Among attendees, 84% hold senior management positions, and 86% wield significant influence over purchasing decisions, providing exhibitors with a strategic window to engage directly with key decision-makers in Asia. China has remained the largest single exhibiting nation for many years, accounting for over 40% of exhibitors, followed by the United States, Australia, Egypt, and New Zealand.
- The fair offers a one-stop commercial platform spanning the entire fruit and vegetable value chain. Exhibits range from fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables to organic products, dried fruits and nuts, processed fruit and vegetable items, as well as planting technologies, post-harvest handling, cold-chain logistics, packaging equipment, and smart agricultural solutions—covering every segment of the industry. The show brings together global industry leaders such as Aartsen Asia, Aomori Apples, T&G Global, Dole Asia, Jiannong, Xinrongmao, Baiguoyuan, and Jiapei. In 2025, Peru made its debut as an official partner country, while Japan, Israel, and Armenia participated for the first time as national pavilions, underscoring the event’s appeal to emerging markets.
- The exhibition aligns with three major industry trends—technology empowerment, cold-chain upgrades, and sustainable transformation—establishing a robust hub for deep integration among industry, academia, and research institutions. In 2025, the fair launched its first-ever Frozen Fruits Forum and Nuts & Dried Fruits Forum, inviting industry experts to share insights on market trends and practical applications. Concurrently, the Asia Fruit International Conference, the Asia Fruit Business Forum, and the Asia Fruit Show Stage were held, focusing on cutting-edge issues such as AI-driven supply chain optimization, packaging automation, and IQF preservation technologies. The event also featured a dedicated zone for first-time exhibitors, providing innovative enterprises with a high-visibility platform.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition represents a strategic gateway to expand into Asian and global markets, connect with international resources, and showcase their innovative capabilities. Held in Hong Kong, leveraging the city’s free-trade port advantages and its strategic location serving Asia, the fair has become a two-way bridge enabling Chinese fruit and vegetable companies to “go global” and overseas firms to “enter China.” Provinces such as Shaanxi, Jiangxi, and Shandong have repeatedly organized corporate participation, promoting the internationalization of local fruit and vegetable brands. Through this platform, exhibitors can access global procurement networks and seize early opportunities arising from Asia’s ongoing consumption upgrade and supply-chain transformation.
