During the show, multiple press conferences unveil new products, cutting-edge technologies, innovative concepts, and novel business models, helping manufacturers gain a competitive edge in capturing market share in the second half of the year. The Exhibition Value of the Xinjiang International Auto Show
- The largest and most influential international auto show in Central Asia. Since its inception in 2001, the event has been successfully held for more than 20 editions. It has now become the largest and highest‑profile automotive industry expo in Northwest China, widely recognized as a leading indicator of trends across the region and even nationwide. Exhibition space has expanded from 5,000 square meters at the inaugural show to 100,000 square meters; exhibitor numbers have grown from 50 to several hundred; and transaction volumes have surged from RMB 55 million to over RMB 1.5 billion, reflecting remarkable growth. Leveraging Xinjiang’s strategic position as a core hub along the Belt and Road Initiative, the show is committed to establishing a premier platform for industrial cooperation and exchange between China and Central Asian countries.
- A comprehensive lineup of brands, showcasing the entire automotive ecosystem. The exhibit range encompasses luxury marques (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, Cadillac, etc.), joint‑venture brands (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford, Buick, etc.), domestic manufacturers (BYD, Hongqi, Changan, Geely, Great Wall, Chery, etc.), and new‑energy vehicle pioneers (Yangwang, Li Auto, Xpeng, Xiaomi, HarmonyOS Smart Mobility, Zeekr, Avatr, etc.). From conventional internal‑combustion vehicles and hybrid models to all‑electric cars—covering sedans, SUVs, MPVs, modified vehicles, and concept cars—the show presents thousands of models side by side, offering buyers and consumers a one‑stop platform for comparison and selection.
- A cutting‑edge showcase for new energy and intelligent technologies, with world‑premiere debuts. In line with the theme “Technology‑Driven, Green Mobility,” new‑energy brands dominate half of the exhibition space. Emerging players such as BYD, Denza, Li Auto, Xiaomi, and HarmonyOS Smart Mobility compete on equal footing, while the latest breakthroughs in pure electric and hybrid powertrains, coupled with immersive smart‑connectivity experiences, take center stage. Major automakers use the show to unveil their newest models, highlighting advanced electric‑drive systems, intelligent driver‑assistance features, and human‑machine interaction innovations, allowing visitors to experience the future of mobility up close.
- The ideal time of year to buy a car, with multiple incentives delivered directly to consumers. The show collaborates closely with major brands to offer exclusive promotions, including direct manufacturer rebates, enhanced financial packages, increased trade‑in subsidies, and generous gift bundles for those who place orders on site. Attractive initiatives such as trade‑in programs, special exhibition‑only pricing, and limited‑time discounts further enhance convenience and affordability for consumers. Beyond serving as a platform for new‑car introductions, the auto show acts as a vital catalyst for boosting regional automotive consumption. Since the beginning of this year, Xinjiang has implemented policies—including trade‑in schemes—to stimulate demand, contributing to steady growth in overall vehicle sales.
- Diverse experiential activities, creating an immersive automotive cultural feast. Breaking away from traditional static displays, the show features a variety of engaging activities, including popular social‑media photo spots, live‑streamed guided tours, AI‑powered voice interactions with in‑vehicle systems, test‑drive opportunities, and interactive experience zones. Influencers lead virtual tours, attendees explore cutting‑edge automotive technologies, participate in simulated test drives, listen to expert car reviews, and check out trending model rankings—all part of a dynamic program that keeps the atmosphere lively and informative. With a rich mix of exhibits and vibrant on‑site events, visitors can not only admire a wide array of vehicles but also engage with the latest automotive innovations and immerse themselves in a thriving automotive culture.

From July 31 to August 4, 2025, the 25th Xinjiang International Automotive Industry Expo was successfully held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme “Technology-Driven, Green Mobility,” this edition brought together more than 60 globally renowned automotive brands and over a thousand popular vehicle models, spanning conventional internal-combustion vehicles, hybrid models, new‑energy pure electric cars, and cutting-edge technological innovations. Both the scale of the event and the breadth of its brand lineup saw significant growth compared with previous editions.
New‑energy brands dominated, with a wealth of exciting new‑car launches. Leading new‑energy players such as BYD, Denza, Li Auto, Xiaomi, Harmony OS Smart Mobility, Leapmotor, Geely Galaxy, Changan Avatr, Lantu, Zeekr, Deepal, and Avatr showcased their latest offerings. Meanwhile, Li Auto unveiled the Li i8, a six‑seat all‑electric SUV designed to alleviate range anxiety while delivering a more comfortable, smarter interior experience.
A full‑scale lineup of brands, featuring luxury, joint‑venture, and domestic manufacturers alike. Direct manufacturer discounts and unprecedented purchase incentives. The expo introduced exclusive promotional measures, including direct manufacturer rebates, enhanced financial packages, and expanded trade‑in subsidies. Ultra‑low down payments, extended interest‑free periods, and flexible financing options significantly lowered the barrier to entry for buyers. Customers who placed orders on-site also received generous gift packages covering maintenance, insurance, and premium accessories. As one of the largest and most influential international automotive expos in Northwest China, this edition leveraged Xinjiang’s strategic position as a core hub along the Belt and Road Initiative, serving not only local consumers’ upgrading needs but also striving to establish a high‑end platform for industrial exchange and cooperation between China and Central Asia.
