The key benefits of participating in Beautyworld Middle East are as follows:

  • One of the world’s three premier beauty trade shows, serving as a gateway to the Middle Eastern market: As one of the largest and most influential professional beauty exhibitions globally, it ranks alongside Cosmoprof Bologna and China Beauty Expo. After nearly 30 years of development, it has become a strategic gateway for global beauty brands seeking to enter the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia markets, earning the reputation of being the “barometer” of the region’s beauty industry.
  • Comprehensive coverage of the entire value chain: The exhibition features a complete range of products, spanning perfumes, skincare, color cosmetics, hair care, nail art, packaging, raw materials, beauty equipment, spa facilities, and aesthetic devices. Dedicated zones such as the Perfume Pavilion, Natural Ingredients Area, Packaging Zone, Hair Care Zone, and Color Cosmetics Workshop provide tailored platforms for exhibitors in specific segments, meeting the one-stop sourcing needs of international buyers.
  • A hub for global buyer networks: Each year, the event attracts over 80,000 professional buyers from more than 170 countries and regions, with a consistently high proportion of international attendees. Buyer profiles include royal procurement teams in the Gulf Cooperation Council states, top-tier department stores, pharmacy chains, luxury spa operators, international distributors, and e‑commerce platform decision-makers—making it an invaluable platform for beauty companies to connect with key global distribution channels.
  • A strategic stronghold for Middle Eastern fragrances: The Middle East and African fragrance markets exhibit an annual growth rate of 11%, significantly outpacing the global average of 7%. As the preferred venue for new fragrance launches, the show brings together leading international fragrance houses alongside hundreds of niche perfume brands, offering a critical window into consumer trends and global olfactory dynamics in the region.
  • Innovation incubation and cross‑industry integration: A dedicated startup incubation zone provides emerging brands with a stage to showcase their offerings and access vital resources; exclusive pavilions for international brands entering the Middle Eastern market help newcomers establish a foothold quickly. Live demonstrations by makeup artists, trend‑setting hair shows, nail‑art competitions, and other engaging activities foster deep synergies between art and commerce, creating immersive brand‑experience environments for exhibitors.
  • Prestigious awards and trendsetting leadership: Annual awards recognize excellence across categories including perfumes, color cosmetics, skincare, and packaging, with winning products receiving endorsements from global industry authorities. Trend‑setting presentations highlight emerging directions such as Korean‑style makeup, technology‑driven skincare, sustainable luxury, food‑inspired fragrances, and ingestible beauty solutions, providing strategic guidance for product development and market positioning.
  • A hub for natural and sustainable ingredients: In response to the global beauty industry’s shift toward clean and green practices, the exhibition features a dedicated Natural Ingredients Zone, showcasing leading suppliers of eco‑friendly, plant‑based components and addressing consumer demand for pure, environmentally conscious beauty. This zone also serves as a one‑stop supply‑chain platform for formulators seeking innovative ingredient solutions.
  • Digital technology empowering the beauty sector: The show gathers cutting‑edge beauty‑tech companies, from AI‑powered beauty consultants and smart cosmetic devices to digital skin‑analysis tools and virtual makeup try‑ons, presenting the latest advancements driving the transformation of the beauty industry. These innovations offer businesses a strategic vantage point to embrace the convergence of technology and beauty.
  • A benchmark for packaging innovation: The Packaging Pavilion brings together world‑class cosmetic packaging providers, showcasing everything from sustainable materials and intelligent packaging to luxurious custom designs and minimalist aesthetics—highlighting the latest technological breakthroughs and creative ideas in beauty packaging and helping brands enhance their product premium appeal.
  • A year-round commercial platform: Leveraging the exhibition’s digital platform, participating companies can enjoy continuous product exposure, online inquiries, buyer‑matching services, and more, realizing long‑term value through “one-time participation, year‑round online engagement.” The next edition will mark the 30th anniversary of the event, further solidifying its position as a central hub for the global beauty industry.

Exhibition Review

The 29th Beautyworld Middle East exhibition was successfully held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 27 to 29, 2025. This edition set a new record for scale, with all 22 halls fully utilized for the first time, bringing together over 2,500 exhibiting companies from 68 countries and attracting 85,297 professional visitors from 178 nations. International attendance increased by nearly 31% compared to 2024, making this the most international and far-reaching edition in the show’s history.

Global Buyers Gather, Unprecedented Internationalization

International visitor numbers saw significant growth: attendees rose by 60%, French visitors by 70%, British visitors by 31%, Indian visitors by 53%, and Spanish visitors by 46%. In addition to core European and American markets, buyers from emerging economies were equally active, with purchasing representatives from Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Moldova, Costa Rica, and other countries attending en masse for the first time.

Perfume Takes Center Stage, Middle Eastern Fragrances Lead the Global Trend

As the exhibition’s standout feature, the perfume sector occupied the largest exhibition space and drew the highest number of international buyers. The Quintessence niche fragrance zone doubled in size, showcasing more than 100 international niche perfume brands. Italian luxury house Xerjoff made its debut, unveiling an exclusive UAE‑only collection. The Signature Scent annual perfume competition, judged via AirParfum® blind‑testing technology, crowned Spain’s EMSA with its Lumière d‘Orient fragrance as the official show‑selected scent. Global fragrance giants such as IFF, Givaudan, MANE, and Symrise all dispatched senior executives to engage deeply with the event.

Industry Awards Announced, Abundant Innovations Recognized

At the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2025 ceremony, 16 awards were presented. Huda Beauty claimed both “Cosmetic Product of the Year” and “Media Campaign of the Year”; Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow won “Popular Perfume of the Year”; Oman Luxury’s Caden took home “Niche Perfume of the Year”; MÄNN Skincare’s Resurfacing Peel was named “Men’s Skincare Product of the Year”; Day+’s UV Drops SPF50 earned “Personal Care Product of the Year”; and Living Proof’s dry‑hair spray received “Haircare Product of the Year.”

New Exhibition Zones and Innovative Platforms Make Their Debut

For the first time, the show introduced two industry‑focused conferences—Next in Fragrance and Next in Beauty—bringing together over 150 global experts for 52 in-depth discussions on innovation, sustainability, and consumer trends. The Natural Notes natural‑ingredients zone debuted, highlighting nine leading global suppliers of natural ingredients and underscoring the industry’s collective shift toward clean, green fragrances. Meanwhile, the First Editions zone showcased six global brands entering the Middle Eastern market for the first time, while the Beauty Beginnings zone continued for the second consecutive year to spotlight 18 emerging start-ups from around the world.

On-Site Events Fuel Enthusiasm

beautyLIVE by Fresha featured live demonstrations by brands including Wella and Dyson, while the SMNT team, working alongside 48 barbers, set a Guinness World Record by trimming beards 190 times in one hour. Makeup Studio made its debut, with international makeup masters Hung Vanngo, Nikki Wolff, and Bassam Fattouh delivering masterclasses. Additionally, eight exhibitors from South Chungcheong Province in South Korea secured export contracts totaling US$3.62 million, and 21 small and medium-sized enterprises from Gyeonggi Province concluded export negotiations worth US$56.73 million.

The next edition of the exhibition will take place from October 6 to 8, 2026, marking the 30th anniversary of the show’s inception.
