Middle East Dubai Exhibition for Broadcasting, Television and Satellite EquipmentProfile
The Middle East Broadcasting, Satellite Equipment and Technology Exhibition in Dubai (CABSAT), is the only specialized exhibition for the satellite sector in the Middle East and the third-largest satellite television and broadcasting show worldwide. It covers the entire industry spectrum—broadcasting, cable, satellite, and digital media—including production, management, and transmission. International satellite operators serving the region, regional satellite providers, telecommunications service providers, VSAT operators, satellite equipment manufacturers, and broadcast‑television equipment suppliers typically exhibit at this event, while attendees are predominantly professionals from the satellite and broadcasting industries.
Iraq’s OTT streaming platform Almanasa has announced a strategic partnership with Roya Media Group, a leading provider of high‑quality digital content. This collaboration aims to combine the strengths of both platforms to offer Iraqi audiences a diverse range of entertainment options, enhancing their streaming experience. The agreement was unveiled at the “CABSAT Co‑Production Salon,” a dedicated forum for identifying investment opportunities in Arabic‑language content.
Majed Al Suwaidi, Senior Vice President of Dubai Film City, stated: “Supporting and accelerating the development of local talent is essential to ensuring the sustained growth of the regional content‑creation economy. We are committed to realizing the vision of Dubai’s Creative Economy Corridor, and we are delighted to serve as a strategic partner for the 30th edition of CABSAT this year.”
At the Middle East Broadcasting, Satellite Equipment and Technology Exhibition in Dubai (CABSAT), more than 300 leading digital‑media brands will showcase their latest innovations, focusing on the finest digital content from the MEASA region. Attendees can participate in dozens of seminars and forums, including an esports arena, photography workshops, and the GVF Satellite Center Summit.
