The Kazakhstan Central Asia Pump, Valve, Pipeline, Motor & Instrument Exhibition (CAPV) is the most specialized pump and valve trade show in Central Asia and the Caspian region. It is co-organized by the Central Asia Exhibition Group, together with Kazakhstan’s Energy Association, Chemical Industry Association, Mining Federation, Power Industry Association, and Oil & Gas Committee.
Formerly a core component of the Central Asia Oil & Gas Exhibition, CAPV has, to date, attracted 287 global companies specializing in pumps, valves, motors, and instrumentation—including 85 from Russia and Europe/ North America, as well as 202 from China. Historical data indicates that 85% of exhibiting companies successfully established connections with regional agents and distribution channels in Central Asia, with five firms even proceeding to set up local manufacturing facilities and commence mass production.
The rapid industrialization and infrastructure development in Central Asia are key drivers of the pump and valve market. Notably, demand is largely met through imports from Kazakhstan, with critical sectors—including oil and gas, chemicals, water treatment, and power generation—fueling this growth.
The city serves as a major hub for water treatment, particularly via large-scale desalination plants that supply potable water from the Caspian Sea.
