Exhibition Review
The 39th China International Ceramic Industry Exhibition 2025 was successfully held from June 18 to 21 at Area A of the Guangzhou Canton Fair Complex. Co-organized by seven entities—including the China National Light Industry Council, the China Building Materials Federation, the China Association of Building & Sanitary Ceramics, and the China Ceramic Industrial Association—the exhibition was themed “Moving Forward with Innovation, Creating the Future with Intelligence,” making it the most significant annual event for technological exchange and business matchmaking in the global ceramics industry.
With an exhibition space of 78,000 square meters, the show brought together 786 exhibiting companies from 21 countries and regions, including China, Italy, Spain, Germany, South Korea, India, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, Bangladesh, Turkey, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Australia, the United States, Brazil, and Argentina. Over the four-day event, a total of 80,240 industry professionals and trade buyers from 94 countries and regions attended to explore new opportunities and make purchases. On opening day, more than 300 distinguished guests from across the global ceramics sector gathered, and Zhang Chonghe, Party Secretary and President of the China National Light Industry Council, officially declared the exhibition open.
The exhibitor lineup showcased internationalization and leadership. Renowned international brands such as SACMI, Kerajet, TALIS, Carobya, and Saint-Gobain were all present, while leading domestic enterprises—including Zhongpeng, Modena, Jin Gang, Benlang, Dao Shi, Hehe, and Kehai—displayed their latest innovations. Paolo Mongardi, Chairman of the Italian SACMI Group, remarked, “In our view, this is the ideal platform for showcasing the innovative achievements of Italian companies in the Asian market.” Wan Peng, Chairman of Guangdong Zhongpeng Thermal Energy Technology, noted, “This year’s exhibition has brought together cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking innovations from around the globe, fully underscoring its worldwide influence.”
AI–ceramics integration emerged as the exhibition’s standout highlight. Concurrently held, the “2025 China Ceramic Industry Development Conference and AI–Ceramics Integration Forum” adopted the theme “Disruption, Convergence, Symbiosis,” focusing on the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence and its practical applications within the ceramics sector. Invited speakers provided in-depth analyses of how AI can accelerate digital transformation in ceramic enterprises, offering forward-looking insights into leveraging this revolutionary technological wave. Among the highlights was an AI‑driven energy‑optimization solution for digital kiln control systems, which demonstrated remarkable progress in environmental sustainability; waste‑slag recycling equipment and low‑emission glazing lines further advanced the industry’s green transition.
Digital and intelligent technologies took center stage. Xiao Libiao, President of Mona Lisa Group, commented, “This year’s exhibition features a large number of exhibitors, with products that distinctly emphasize digitalization and intelligence. Technologies like dry‑granule processing and specialized inks are being rapidly innovated and iterated.” Chen Cong, Director of JOMOO Kitchen & Bath, stated, “The exhibited products maintain consistently high quality standards, particularly the high‑pressure molding equipment launched by Jinma Lingke, which stands out remarkably.” Meanwhile, a manager at HEGII Sanitary Ware pointed out, “Innovative solutions such as intelligent glaze‑spraying systems and low‑carbon firing technologies align closely with our production line upgrade needs.”
Numerous high‑quality forums汇聚ed industry expertise. In addition to the AI–Integration Forum, the event also hosted the “2025 China Ceramic Industry IP Development Conference,” themed “Content Rules, Value Transformation,” which explored core strategies for brand IP creation and marketing innovation in the digital age. The “2025 Architectural Ceramic Surface Decoration Technology Development Forum,” under the banner “Passing Down Glaze Fire, Everlasting Innovation,” focused on the inheritance, evolution, and breakthroughs in architectural ceramic surface decoration techniques. Other concurrent events included the China Ceramic Raw and Auxiliary Materials Industry New‑Quality Productivity Summit, the Tile Design and Process Innovation Forum, the Daily‑Use Ceramic Digital Transformation and High‑End Development Forum, and the Architectural Ceramic New Materials and Technological Innovation Forum.
