China Electronics Fair – Western China

From July 9 to 11, 2025, the 13th China (Western) Electronic Information Expo, themed “New Momentum, New Ecosystem, New Western Region,” was successfully held at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation and the Chengdu Electronic Information Industry Ecosystem Alliance, the expo spanned an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, attracting more than 500 leading enterprises from the electronic information sector and drawing over 20,000 professional visitors.

Optimized and upgraded exhibition layout, with digital intelligence innovation and basic electronics coexisting in two dedicated halls. The expo meticulously organized the Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall (Hall 8) and the Basic Electronics Hall (Hall 9). The Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall focused on areas such as smart terminals, low-altitude economy, next-generation displays, and digital infrastructure, where industry leaders—including Tianma Microelectronics, China Telecom, Dongfang Electric, CEC Port, Huakun Zhenyu, Huacun Zhigu, Gaoju Innovation, and Yizhen Technology—showcased cutting-edge products like AI servers, high-end storage solutions, automotive displays, and immersive VR experiences. Meanwhile, the Basic Electronics Hall brought together prominent companies such as Yuyang Technology, Yufei Electronics, Jinshengyang, Keda Jia, Dingyang Technology, Tonghui Electronics, Yiershite, and Fuxing Intelligent, highlighting innovative offerings including ultra-miniature MLCCs (008004), industrial-grade integrated inductors, and high-end vector network analyzers.

Substantial contract signings and precise, efficient supply–demand matching. During the event, 19 organizations and enterprises from diverse sectors signed agreements on-site, totaling RMB 56 million, covering intelligent applications across multiple fields, including electronic information, the digital economy, commerce, education, healthcare, cultural tourism, and film & television. A comprehensive list of supply and demand needs—encompassing electronic material procurement, supply chain management services, and next-generation technology collaborations—was also released, featuring more than 120 items.

A rich array of concurrent events fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. In parallel with the expo, over ten specialized conferences were held, including the Electronic Components Industry Chain and Supply Chain Cooperation Conference, the Digital Economy Enterprise Investment and Financing Cooperation Conference, and the 2025 China Western Microwave and RF Technology Symposium. Industry leaders such as AMD’s Vice President of Greater China Marketing, Alibaba DingTalk’s Sichuan-Tibet Regional General Manager, and the Deputy Director of the Industrial Research Institute of China Telecom Sichuan Company delivered keynote speeches on hot topics like industrial development in the AI era, large-scale model agents, and multi-agent collaboration. Concurrently, professional competitions such as the 9th “Kuaike Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Welding Skills Contest and the 2nd “Yibo Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Competition took place.

Specialized electronics zone draws attention, with Ningbo making its debut as a participating delegation. The Specialized Electronics Zone gathered over 100 specialized electronics enterprises, including the China Academy of Electronics Chip Technology Research Institute, the China Academy of Electronics Industrial Foundation Research Institute, Loongson Technology, and the 214th Institute of the Ordnance Group. In addition to western provinces and municipalities, this year’s expo welcomed coastal cities such as Ningbo, Zhejiang, which participated through official delegations. Companies including Ningbo Guanshi Semiconductor and Ningbo Aixin Microelectronics showcased their innovations. The successful staging of the 13th edition underscores the pivotal role of the China (Western) Electronic Information Expo as a flagship platform driving high-quality development of the region’s electronic information industry.
