Tianjin International Jewelry and Accessories ExhibitionProfile

The Tianjin International Jewelry and Gemstone Exhibition (Chinese jewellery, abbreviated as the Tianjin Jewelry Show), is a leading industry event in China. The exhibition will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, themed “New Scale, New Opportunities, New Experiences,” to fully integrate the jewelry market and create greater opportunities for exhibitors.

At the previous edition of the Tianjin Jewelry Show, 580 exhibitors from around the world participated, occupying an exhibition space of 20,000 square meters. The show has become a key platform for jewelry businesses; its inclusive nature has attracted numerous exhibitors, while visitors eagerly attend to engage directly with exhibitors on-site, ensuring effective access to industry insights across all sectors.

China’s jewelry industry is experiencing rapid growth, with a clear trend toward diversification in jewelry and jade culture. Jewelry enterprises are actively integrating this cultural heritage into the broader cultural and lifestyle landscape of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. As a quasi-first-tier city, Tianjin serves as the economic hub of Northern China and the economic center of the Bohai Rim. Leveraging the strategic opportunities presented by the coordinated development of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, the Yangtze Economic Belt, and other major national initiatives—such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the Tianjin Free Trade Zone, and the National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone—Tianjin is well-positioned to capitalize on these overlapping developmental advantages.

The Tianjin Jewelry Show has evolved into a premier jewelry event in Northern China, distinguished by its high standards, strong professionalism, and significant influence.

Tianjin International Jewelry and Accessories Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.

The exhibition value of the Tianjin International Jewelry Fair is as follows:

  • The largest and most influential annual jewelry industry event in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. First held in 2008, the fair is co-organized by authoritative institutions including the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development and Tianjin DiKuang Jewelry Co., Ltd. Leveraging multiple national strategic opportunities—such as the coordinated development of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Tianjin Free Trade Zone—the event has evolved into a premier, high‑end, highly professional, and influential jewelry showcase in Northern China. After nearly two decades of dedicated cultivation, the Tianjin Jewelry Fair has become a comprehensive platform integrating brand promotion, information exchange, business negotiations, new‑product launches, cultural dissemination, and trendsetting.
  • Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, offering one‑stop solutions to diverse procurement needs. The fair features a complete range of exhibits spanning the entire jewelry value chain, including premium jadeite, Hetian jade, and other fine jades; diamonds, colored gemstones such as rubies, sapphires, and emeralds; precious metal‑set jewelry in white gold, yellow gold, platinum, and K‑gold; Chinese freshwater pearls, South Sea pearls, Tahitian pearls, and other pearl varieties; as well as aromatic woods like agarwood and Hainan Huanghuali for collectors. The exhibit lineup further encompasses crystal carvings, mineral specimens, processing machinery, tools, packaging, and other complementary products, providing buyers and jewelry enthusiasts with a one‑stop platform for sourcing and networking—from raw materials to finished pieces, from design to craftsmanship.
  • An international roster led by the Taiwan Pavilion, bringing together global jewelry resources. The fair’s international profile continues to grow, consistently attracting jewelry exhibitors from Sri Lanka, Poland, Thailand, Myanmar, India, France, Canada, Israel, South Korea, Japan, and other countries and regions. As the largest exhibiting delegation, the Taiwan Pavilion annually brings together over a hundred renowned Taiwanese jewelry enterprises, showcasing collector‑grade pieces such as old‑pit jadeite, high‑end colored diamonds, and emeralds, making it one of the fair’s most compelling thematic zones. This highly international mix of exhibitors provides domestic companies with an exceptional opportunity to benchmark against global standards and expand into overseas markets.
  • Rooted in the Northern market, precisely reaching high‑value consumer segments. As the economic hub of Northern China and the Bohai Rim region, Tianjin serves as a key gateway to the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei area, as well as neighboring provinces in North China, Northeast China, Shandong, and Shanxi. Each year, the fair draws jewelry distributors, wholesalers, and end‑consumers from across the country—including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, and Hebei—providing exhibitors with an efficient platform to engage directly with core purchasing decision‑makers in the Northern market. Through tailored one‑on‑one invitations to professional buyers and organized visits by industry associations, the organizers ensure both the quality of the audience and the effectiveness of procurement activities.
  • Backed by authoritative testing, bolstering consumer confidence on all fronts. In collaboration with the Tianjin DiKuang Jewelry Supervision and Inspection Center and other reputable institutions, the fair establishes on‑site expert appraisal teams, offering free jewelry authentication and advisory services to consumers. This initiative effectively addresses the longstanding challenge of distinguishing genuine from counterfeit jewelry, enabling buyers to purchase with confidence and store their collections securely. Meanwhile, a rich array of concurrent events—including industry forums, jewelry lectures, and geological‑mineral science outreach—provides exhibitors and professional attendees with a high‑level platform for in‑depth exchanges and insights into emerging trends.

Exhibition Review

From April 3 to 6, 2025, the 31st Tianjin International Jewelry and Gemstone Exhibition was successfully held in Hall S2 of the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. The four-day event spanned an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, bringing together over 200 exhibitors from countries including Sri Lanka, Poland, Thailand, and Myanmar, as well as domestic participants, and attracting tens of thousands of jewelry enthusiasts from both home and abroad to visit and make purchases.

The exhibition showcased more than a thousand categories and hundreds of thousands of distinctive pieces, ranging from high-end jadeite and colored gemstone settings to K-gold fashion accessories, original designer collections, premium pearls and agates, exquisite and rare mineral crystals, and handcrafted art objects, presenting North China’s consumers with a dazzling jewelry extravaganza. The Taiwan delegation once again demonstrated its substantial presence, featuring collector-grade treasures such as old-pit jadeite, high-end colored diamonds, and emeralds, making it a major draw throughout the event.

During the exhibition, a rich array of concurrent activities—including industry forums, jewelry lectures, and educational sessions on gemology and mineralogy—provided a dynamic platform for interaction and networking among exhibitors and visitors. According to incomplete statistics, as of April 2025, the Tianjin International Jewelry and Gemstone Exhibition has been successfully staged 31 times, attracting nearly 9,000 jewelry enterprises, wholesalers, and retailers. The visitor base is predominantly composed of professional buyers and general consumers from North China and neighboring provinces, with cumulative attendance exceeding 1.53 million and total transaction value—including confirmed and prospective deals—surpassing RMB 4.1 billion.

From November 28 to December 1 of the same year, the 33rd Tianjin International Jewelry and Gemstone Exhibition continued the tradition at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center, further elevating its product offerings and reinforcing its reputation as a premier, high‑end, and influential jewelry event in North China.
