Exhibition Introduction
The Value of Participating in the China International Battery Fair (CIBF)
- The world’s largest benchmark event for the battery industry, officially endorsed by a national trade association. Organized by the China Chemical and Physical Power Sources Industry Association, CIBF is the first battery industry trade show to secure trademark protection. Since its inception in 1992, it has grown into one of the most influential new-energy exhibitions globally. In 2025, the fair expanded to 300,000 square meters, attracting over 3,200 leading enterprises and 400,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries and regions, setting new records in both scale and impact. As a barometer and catalyst for China’s energy sector, CIBF serves as a strategic gateway for companies seeking to establish industry leadership, align with policy directions, and connect with global resources.
- Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, featuring ten core sectors. Spanning three thematic pavilions—green energy, advanced materials, and intelligent manufacturing—the fair encompasses the full spectrum of the industry chain, from materials and cells to equipment, recycling, and end-use applications. Covering everything from various battery types (lithium/sodium/solid-state/hydrogen fuel), power batteries and management systems, and energy storage solutions, to battery production machinery, testing instruments, raw materials, components, and even waste battery recycling, charging infrastructure, and hydrogen/fuel-cell technologies, the fair presents a complete ecosystem of industrial innovation—from fundamental research to final applications.
- Bringing together top-tier global enterprises to create a hub for collaborative innovation. Powerhouse brands such as CATL, BYD, EVE Energy, Xinwangda, Guoxuan High-tech, Svolt, Ruipu Lanjun, Chunan New Energy, alongside leading smart-equipment manufacturers like Lead Intelligent, Jiatuo Intelligent, Hymson, Liyuanheng, and Mannster, as well as upstream material specialists including Pute Lai, Betray, Tianci Materials, and Xinzhoubang, all converged on the same stage. Cutting-edge technologies like solid-state batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and hydrogen fuel cells took center stage, generating a powerful “technological resonance” effect throughout the industry chain.
- High-profile forums provide authoritative guidance, steering the industry toward green and intelligent transformation. Concurrent with the fair, high-caliber summits such as the “Advanced Battery Frontier Technology Symposium,” the “Electric Aviation and Next-Generation Battery Technology Exchange Meeting,” and the “CIBICS Battery Industry Cooperation Forum” brought together top scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other global institutions. In-depth discussions focused on hot topics like solid-state batteries, ultra-fast-charging technologies, large-scale deployment of sodium batteries, and batteries for low-altitude aircraft, culminating in the release of authoritative reports such as the “Blue Book on the Lithium-Ion Battery Industry” and the “White Paper on Standardization for Low-Altitude Aircraft Batteries,” offering strategic guidance for corporate decision-making.
- Aggregating global buyer networks to build an efficient business-matching platform. In 2025, the fair drew over 400,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries and regions worldwide, with overseas audiences primarily originating from South Korea, Japan, India, the United States, and Germany. Beyond serving as a launchpad for technological breakthroughs, the fair also functions as a comprehensive ecosystem aggregation platform and a cross-sector innovation coordination hub. A dedicated international zone was established to facilitate seamless connections between Chinese brands expanding overseas and international enterprises seeking to enter the Chinese market. Total intended transaction value exceeded RMB 24 billion, with individual companies like Xinxin Lithium Power securing orders exceeding RMB 20 billion.
