The China Cixi Household Appliances Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Cixi Home Appliance Expo) is co-hosted by the People’s Government of Cixi City, the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, and the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

This edition of the expo is themed “Pursuing Quality Through Innovation, Expanding Channels with Creativity,” featuring an exhibition space of 30,800 square meters, bringing together 479 companies from around the globe and showcasing over 300 new products, thereby jointly charting a new course for high-quality development in the home appliance industry.

The China Cixi Household Appliances Expo has become a key platform for driving the local home appliance industry’s growth. With 17 specialized events as its backbone, this year’s expo achieves comprehensive coverage across product display, technological innovation, brand building, channel expansion, and ecosystem development. This edition set multiple records: the exhibition space reached 30,800 square meters for the first time, attracting 403 exhibiting companies and drawing 21,779 professional buyers.

A key innovation of the expo was the creation of a 150-square-meter Home Appliance Experience Center, which brought real-life settings—such as living rooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces—into the exhibition hall, enabling buyers to immerse themselves in interconnected product ecosystems. This scenario-based presentation increased dwell time by 40% and boosted collaboration rates by 25%, effectively guiding the industry’s shift from a single-product mindset toward holistic solutions.

Companies vied to showcase groundbreaking technologies. For example, YueLi Group, in collaboration with Huawei Smart Selection, launched a premium electric shaver priced above RMB 500, which sold out rapidly; meanwhile, Cixi Qiyuan Electrical Appliances unveiled a smart voice‑controlled fan developed through tens of millions of yuan in R&D. These examples underscore how Cixi’s home appliance sector is leveraging substantial R&D investment to break down barriers posed by international brands and reshape its position in the global market.
