Chongqing Lijia International Smart Equipment ExhibitionProfile
Chongqing Lijia International Smart Equipment Exhibition (CWMTE) has, since its inception in 2000, presented a comprehensive array of products and solutions for the machining industry from an international perspective, tailored to meet the unique needs of the central and western markets. With record-breaking figures in exhibition scale, exhibitor numbers, and visitor attendance, it has become a must‑attend event for buyers and end users alike.
As the 15th Five-Year Plan gets underway, China’s manufacturing sector is accelerating its transition toward high-end, intelligent, and green production. Yet at the frontline, many enterprises remain constrained by a persistent challenge: they are focused on growth but struggle to turn that growth into profitability. Difficult processes, costly trial-and-error, and the scarcity of domain‑expertise have become invisible barriers—“ceiling effects”—for numerous manufacturers.
Against this backdrop, China’s first platform dedicated to manufacturing process‑knowledge services—“Jiayouhui”—has officially launched. Simultaneously, the Chongqing Lijia Smart Equipment Exhibition, a key indicator of industrial trends in western China, has announced a major strategic upgrade: adopting a dual‑pillar model that combines physical trade shows with knowledge‑based services.
The Chongqing Lijia International Smart Equipment Exhibition (CWMTE) will center on the needs of leading enterprises in the supply chain, establishing “innovation theme islands” that shift the focus from equipment sales to solution‑oriented offerings. Through initiatives such as the “Innovation Process Festival,” technical seminars, and factory visits, the show will evolve into a genuine forum for technological exchange. Additionally, new sections dedicated to industrial informatization and embodied intelligence will showcase cutting-edge applications, including collaborative robots and humanoid robots.
As a platform for thought‑provoking dialogue and knowledge sharing within the equipment‑manufacturing community, past speakers at CWMTE have included industry luminaries from institutions such as the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, the China Aerospace Corporation, Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, Seres, Changan Automobile, Xiebolin, Huazhong CNC, Tencent Cloud, and others.
With its growing stature and influence, the Chongqing Lijia International Smart Equipment Exhibition (CWMTE) has emerged as one of China’s four major regional machinery‑equipment exhibitions. It serves not only as the premier venue for showcasing new technologies, equipment, and processes but also as a vital channel for companies seeking collaboration and joint development.
