Chongqing Lijia International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition

The 25th Lijia International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition (CWMTE) in 2025 was successfully held from May 13 to 16 at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Co-organized by authoritative institutions including the China Machinery Industry Federation and Chongqing Lijia Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd., this year’s event was themed “Towards Innovation, Intelligence, and the Future,” making it the most significant annual platform for technological exchange and business matchmaking in the western equipment manufacturing sector.

Exhibition Area and Exhibitor Scale Reach New Highs. This edition featured eight thematic pavilions, bringing together 1,128 exhibiting companies from both domestic and international markets, with a total exhibition space of nearly 90,000 square meters—an increase of approximately 10% compared to the previous show. A total of 1,100 advanced machining units weighing over one ton each, along with tens of thousands of functional components, were showcased side by side. Leaders from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology visited the venue to conduct on-site inspections, while industry associations and organized visitor groups from central and western China continued to arrive throughout the event.

Exhibitor Portfolio Demonstrates Internationalization and Leadership. China General Technology Group presented an intelligent flexible production line, supporting mass production of aerospace components; Chongqing Machine Tool Group showcased precision gear machining technologies and equipment, with its Y8030 CNC direct-drive gear hobbing machine achieving 4–8 times the productivity of conventional gear hobs; Haomai Machine Tool unveiled a dedicated five-axis machining center for aerospace applications and a large gantry milling machine. In the Automation Pavilion, renowned industrial robot and automation brands such as Canopus, New Generation, Erbidi, Syntec, MiMA, Shenchih, and DDK competed on the same stage, demonstrating live applications in grinding, welding, material handling, and other industrial scenarios.

New Energy Vehicles and Aerospace Emerged as Core Highlights. The exhibition gathered leading equipment manufacturers, presenting end-to-end processing solutions covering three-electric systems, chassis structures, and complete vehicle components. Advanced five-axis machining centers have been successfully applied to complex parts such as battery trays and motor housings, serving major automakers including Tesla, Changan Automobile, and Seres. Focusing on high-end equipment manufacturing, China General Technology Group’s intelligent flexible production line supports mass production of aerospace components, while Beiyi Machine Tool exhibited a high-precision five-axis machining center ideal for efficient processing of aircraft engine blades.

Abundant Innovative Exhibits. Chongqing Machine Tool’s Y8030 CNC direct-drive gear hobbing machine became a focal point of the exhibition, drawing keen attention from industry professionals thanks to its exceptional precision and efficiency. Shenzhen Saiweina Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. introduced its SFB nut, widely used in airports, semiconductors, medical devices, photovoltaics, and new energy sectors, attracting more than a dozen potential partners within a single morning. LiJin Group unveiled integrated structural components for new energy vehicles, along with comprehensive forming and post-processing solutions for three-electric systems, while Beijing Jingdiao’s JDMR600 high-speed “large five-axis” machining center enabled highly efficient processing.

Rich and Diverse Concurrent Conference Activities. This year’s exhibition hosted over 60 technical conferences centered around themes such as new energy vehicles, digital factories, die casting, molds, gears, sheet metal, high-precision aluminum, and plastics. These included events like the “7th Industrial Mother Machine Innovation, Breakthrough, and Development Conference,” the “New Energy Vehicle Chassis Systems and Key Components Efficient Processing Technical Exchange Meeting,” and the “2025-FIM Future Intelligent Manufacturing Conference.” Concurrently, the 11th Industrial Automation and Digital Factory Transformation Technical Exchange Meeting, the New Energy Vehicle High-Speed Gear Key Technology Exchange Meeting, and the Japan-Kyushu City–Chongqing Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Exchange Meeting were also held, fostering valuable networking opportunities.

Significant Success in Supply-Demand Matching and Expert Services. With a focus on three key areas—non-standard intelligent integration, equipment upgrades, and flexible manufacturing transformation—the exhibition collaborated with local manufacturing leaders, premium equipment integrators, and remanufacturing service providers to host the “Jiajihui Project Matchmaking Event.” Additionally, the “Jiajihui Expert Clinic” was established, where over a hundred industry experts provided online and offline support to address enterprise production challenges and technical bottlenecks.
