Despite hosting Africa’s largest cotton and textile industrial cluster, Egypt faces weaknesses in producing high-end fabrics, functional materials, and synthetic fibers, resulting in heavy reliance on imports. Seventy percent of Egypt’s yarn and fabric needs, along with 80% of its accessories, are imported, making China the primary target country for expanding import trade. Tariff benefits from international trade agreements. Egypt has signed free trade agreements with the European Union, the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, and Arab states, as well as Qualified Industrial Zone agreements with Israel and the United States, effectively circumventing trade barriers and significantly reducing or eliminating tariffs for exports to Europe and the Americas. Participating companies can capitalize on these trade advantages to expand their products into broader international markets.

Outstanding participation effectiveness and high satisfaction rates. Based on past exhibition data, 46% of manufacturers accumulated 10 to 50 clients, and 29% secured 51 to 100 clients. On-site signing rates reached 62%, with 83% of exhibitors meeting their target sales goals. Seventy percent of exhibitors reported very high satisfaction with the exhibition outcomes, and 93% expressed willingness to continue participating.
