展会简介
The Exhibition Value of ELEKTRO Moscow, Russia
- The Largest and Longest‑Running Power Electronics Event in Russia and Eastern Europe: Since its inception in 1972, the ELEKTRO Moscow exhibition has been held for 33 editions. Organized by EXPOCENTRE Russia and officially supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is the only power‑related trade show in Russia accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Covering the entire value chain—including power generation technologies, transmission and distribution equipment, power automation, energy metering, electrical materials, lighting solutions, and building automation—the event is widely recognized as a leading indicator of developments in the Eastern European power sector and a key gateway for companies seeking to enter the Russian and CIS markets.
- A One‑Stop Platform Covering the Entire Industry Chain: The exhibition encompasses all segments of the power industry, from power generation technologies and equipment—such as generators, backup power systems, power plant machinery, and clean energy solutions—to transmission and distribution devices, including high‑voltage switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, contactors, power cables, current transformers, and surge arresters; as well as power automation and control systems like SCADA, PLC controllers, and variable frequency drives; energy metering and monitoring tools, including smart meters, remote reading systems, infrared thermal imagers, and cable fault locators; electrical materials and energy‑efficient products such as wires, cables, insulating materials, and high‑efficiency energy‑saving devices; and even construction and installation equipment. From traditional power equipment to cutting‑edge smart grid solutions, and from high‑voltage transmission and distribution to end‑point energy metering, exhibitors can seamlessly integrate technical showcases, brand exposure, and business negotiations within a single platform.
- Precise Access to Core Buyers and Decision‑Makers in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union: The 2025 edition brought together 349 companies from six countries—Russia, Belarus, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Turkey—and attracted 14,850 professional visitors. For 2026, the exhibition is expected to expand to 50,000 square meters, with over 680 exhibitors from 42 countries and more than 31,000 professional attendees. Among the visitor base, 45% are procurement directors from power utilities, 15% represent government ministries and regulatory agencies, and 94% of exhibitors reported securing on‑site orders or partnership commitments. Exhibitors gain direct access to key decision‑makers at major Russian entities such as Rosseti and RusHydro, enabling efficient business matchmaking and market expansion.
- Unique Value for Chinese Enterprises: A Strategic Engine for Expanding into Russia and the Eurasian Market: Russia’s power grid is currently undergoing its most extensive modernization in three decades, with a 2.4 trillion ruble grid upgrade plan launched in 2025. Between 60% and 80% of transmission and distribution equipment will require replacement. The Russian government mandates the adoption of smart technologies, aiming for 60% smart meter penetration by 2035, while increasing the share of renewable energy to 10% and offering tax incentives for foreign investment in wind and solar projects. At the 2025 exhibition, China and Turkey jointly established national pavilions, with Chinese participants such as Chint Electric, TBEA, and NARI Group regularly exhibiting. Notably, TBEA secured $210 million in contracts at the previous edition. Chinese ultra‑high voltage transformers and cold‑resistant cables have already generated over $6 million in orders through the event.
- A Vanguard for Technological Innovation and Industry Trends: Smart grid technologies, cold‑resistant transmission and distribution equipment capable of operating in temperatures as low as −60°C, permafrost‑compatible cables, and ice‑resistant power supply systems for drilling platforms were among the highlights of the 2025 edition. Concurrent events included the Russian Energy Transition Summit and the Arctic Energy Technology Symposium, providing insights into grid modernization plans and favorable tax policies for foreign investors. Rosseti unveiled tenders for ultra‑high voltage equipment and smart meters, alongside a real‑time national grid simulation system that reduces fault self‑healing times to as little as 0.3 seconds.
- Moscow’s Geographical and Industrial Advantages: The exhibition alternates between Moscow’s EXPOCENTRE and the Crocus Expo International Convention Center. As Russia’s political, economic, and technological hub, Moscow serves as a strategic gateway to Eastern Europe and the CIS markets. Leveraging Russia’s pivotal role as a core member of the Eurasian Economic Union, ELEKTRO provides exhibitors with a robust platform to engage with both the Russian and broader Eurasian markets.
